Hi to all,

In this midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, we are all feeling rather unsettled. Like you, our kids are out of school and we don’t know when we will be going back. We are looking forward to things getting back to normal eventually, and in the meantime we are going to try and be as helpful as possible sharing our resources with you. Below are virtual books that explain Coronavirus because little ears are always listening, free homeschooling plans and links from Scholastic, free streaming dance classes, yoga and music for little ones and you, DIY hand sanitizer, a thorough resource for recipes, and my favorite free exercise channel on You Tube. Please leave comments below for anything you think we can help with or any additional resources you want to share with the community. Keep calm and carry on…and wash your hands.

xx,

Kacy, editor, Your Zen Mama

HOMESCHOOLING BY SCHOLASTIC FOR GRADES PRE-K THROUGH 6TH

These are really fabulous. We have been using Scholastic the entire quarantine and I cannot recommend it enough. The days are so densely packed with activities and educational video content that I usually make them into units and each day on there can actually be spread out over 3-4 days. Let your imagination take over with any other sort of activities you would like to add in, and I highly recommend incorporating a daily relaxation time for your child/children. It will give you a break to do what you need to do, ie, that’s what’s happening at my house as I type this.
