Week 16 Pregnancy VLOG, baby 4 by Teresa Palmer
WHAT WEEK?
16
HOW BIG IS BABY?
About 4.5 inches long! Or the size of an avocado
WHAT’S SOMETHING NEW THIS WEEK?
We have landed in Estonia! I traveled from LA to Estonia on my own with the three kids and we did it! Everyone was in good spirits, used listening ears, and felt very excited about the travel. I receive really great help at the airport with my bags (god I love generous and helpful people!) I even got a little bit of sleep!
MOST CHALLENGING MOMENT?
Jet lag the first few nights was really hard. I slept in the bed with the kids and at different points of the night they woke me up. I would be awake from 2am and only had 4 hours sleep for the first couple of nights. The third night I slept a little better and had about 6 hours of broken sleep and last night (night number 4) I finally felt better and slept from 10-7:30 with about 4 wake ups. I definitely feel much more rested. I was telling Mark that I found the jet lagged kids so much harder than travelling alone with them.
MOST EXCITING MOMENT?
Starting a new adventure in Estonia this week. It’s been both exhausting and exhilarating. I’m very excited about the movie I’m working on so it’s been really lovely to sink my teeth in to a new character after so long playing Diana Bishop. I’m also working with my co-star from A Discovery of Witches, Steven Cree which is so wild and fun!
MEALS?
I’ve been loving pineapple right now, my usual avocado toast and Susie has been cooking this really yummy pesto, artichoke, olive, sundried tomato pasta that I’ve become addicted to. Also every night we’ve been drinking DREAM, Lovewell’s new blend coming out in a few months. It has been a godsend and I have been sleeping so well plus it is just SO YUMMY with lavender, hops, chamomile.
FOOD AVERSIONS?
Boba tea? It’s not even really food but before I got pregnant it was such a big go-to for me, I’d have to have it every day. Now that I’m all knocked up I am so put off by it and do not crave it at all.
CRAVINGS?
Lovewell DREAM has been my one can’t live without right now, we only have a sample so I’m so sad that it’s going to be empty soon, bring on May/June when we release it so I hm can have it non stop!
REFLECTIONS?
Feeling really proud of my littles right now, not only are we stuck indoors in quarantine halfway around the world but we are away from their Dad and half-brother Isaac too. They had just settled into life back in LA before Estonia summoned us. I often marvel at their ability to take transitions and change in their routine in their stride. While it’s not easy being in a tiny apartment with 5 people right now (shout-out to my home girl Susie who helps with the kids when I work!) it’s been a pleasure watching my kids interact with one another and embrace all the adventure their life throws at them.
