WHAT WEEK?
23

HOW BIG IS BABY?
11.5 inches and about the size of an eggplant!

WHAT’S SOMETHING NEW THIS WEEK?
Seeing little bub kicking from the outside. I actually physically saw a punch/kick this week and Susie my friend caught it too. It was so nice to feel and see it. She’s still sleeping in these long patches but when she’s active she’s really moving and kicking about.

MOST CHALLENGING MOMENT?
We always have such a challenging time at airports, I think having a family with half of us being from one country the other half from another really throws people for a loop. We arrived at the airport to check in for our LA flight 2 hours early and it took them 2 hours to check us in, they had to call the US embassy, get approvals, see marriage certificates, birth certificates etc. Obviously these complications are heightened because of Covid but this time round it was so touch and go, we thought we were going to miss the plane. Thank GOD for devices that kept the kids sane for the 2 hours we had to wait off to the side. Mark always gets so stressed with travel because it’s just never straight forward with our circus!

MOST EXCITING MOMENT?
Coming back home!! There’s just nothing like it. Settling back in, unpacking, seeing the kids playing with toys and eating our favourite foods. Such a joy! We are always our happiest whenever we land in Adelaide or Los Angeles.

STARTING WEIGHT?
116lbs/52.5kg

CURRENT WEIGHT?
132.4lbs/60kg

EXERCISE?
Running, climbing and vigorously digging in scenes at work. I also started my pregnancy workouts with Emily Skye Fit who I loooove and the workout was wonderful. Also does sex count?!

MEALS?
I had a cheeky glass of red when our film wrapped woooot wooot and omg that went down well. I’ve also been pounding the burgers, pasta, avocado toasts and Lovewell. Thank god for LW otherwise errrm the nutrients would be rather on the low side haha

REFLECTIONS?
I haven’t felt this contented in a while, whilst my general default is to be joyful and happy I’m exceptionally happy right now to be back home. I love seeing how thrilled Mark is to be back, we are also feeling really connected with each other and we are getting really excited for the future, settling in to life back home has never tasted so sweet. I can’t wait to be able to venture out in a week (after two negative tests) to be able to finally start seeing friends again.
