What week?

How big is the baby?

The size of a Grape or 3.2 to 4.3cm / 1.25" - 1.69"

What's something new this week?

I traveled with Forest alone for the first time since I’ve been pregnant. I attended the press day and premiere of A Discovery of Witches in London and Wales.

Most challenging moment?

Sharing the seat with Forest who was majorly cramping my style. I was curled in the fetal position at the bottom of the seat and he was kicking me most of the flight and didn’t want to sleep. He’s at that age where he won’t watch TV for very long on a flight and is just interested in sticking his fingers in sockets and any holes he finds in the airplane. He rang the service button at least 12 times and thought it was hilarious. The flight attendants ended up turning it off in my seat haha.

Most exciting moment?

The premiere of ADOW! The show was really well received and I got to catch up with so many of the crew that helped to make the show such a success. I was truly excited to be amongst everyone again and talking about the show. It was nice to get back into work mode for a few days. I’ve been so focused on the kids and the pregnancy that it was lovely to get invested in something else for a change.

Meals?

I got to have the yummiest vegan burger that I would eat every single day on set during filming. It’s from a restaurant in Cardiff, Wales called Anna Loka and the burger is called “the Fully Loaded Bap” oh it tasted sooooo good! I also ate a lot more this week and have really started getting my appetite back!

The FLB burger haha

Reflections?

The pregnancy feels very, very real now. I guess after seeing the heartbeat and telling my bestie Claire (I saw her at the show), it’s been really nice to celebrate it in a different way and let some others in. Only 2 of my friends back in Adelaide know and my parents (plus a couple of the members of my acting team to ward off any projects and to delay the second season of ADOW). It’s nice to be able to share our excitement with a couple of my closest people and my belly is getting pretty big now! I’m surprised more people didn’t notice it at the premiere.
