WHAT WEEK?
25

HOW BIG IS BABY?
About 13.6 inches- the size of a head of cauliflower. We were told our bubs is in the 55th percentile for size

WHAT’S SOMETHING NEW THIS WEEK?
A 3D image of our baby. Oh and she just looks so sweet. They all look gorgeous in these images, it’s crazy how advanced technology had become but I think we got the best we’ve ever got for a 3D ultrasound. Mark cried when he saw her and we both just broke out in the biggest smiles. We love her so much already.

MOST CHALLENGING MOMENT?
This week was very emotionally and physically taxing. My dogs got in a serious altercation because of being overly protective of myself and the kids, I won’t get in to all the ins and out but it was very traumatic. I was physically injured in the process and had to go in to get bubs checked out because she went very quiet afterwards. The doctor said it was because of all the adrenaline pulsing through my body. I also sprained my toes earlier in the week too and suffered some pelvic pain so it was just a shit show for the beginning half of the week.

MOST EXCITING MOMENT?
Seeing our darling little girl and being told that she is perfectly healthy and that there are no signs of the uterine Dopplers being elevated. It was such a beautiful release and incredibly heartwarming to hear our doctor talking about how well she is thriving.

STARTING WEIGHT?
116lbs/52.5 kg

CURRENT WEIGHT?
135lbs/61kg

EXERCISE?
Walking around Disneyland for 10 hours counts I think!

MEALS?
Salads, veggies, pasta, banana bread, guacamole and chips and many many kombuchas

REFLECTIONS?
I’ve spent the past two nights surrounded by beautiful mum friends of mine. No kids, just all of us together in Palm Springs and we have had the most remarkable time. Mark has held it down with our kids and I have absolutely relished them adult time and the immense amount of R n R. I don’t think I’ve ever done this since becoming a parent so to be treated like this has been an incredible reset.
